Merry Christmas!

Long time no post! Guess that's a reflection of how busy this last month has been. I've been reduced to posting just little previews on my facebook page lately. I will definitely get back to blogging with the turn of the new year and I have so many awesome sessions to share!

In the meantime... just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas!! Hope yours has been wonderful, magical, and fun. What a happy time of year. I know we've been having a great time so far! James | Utah Newborn Photographer

Meet sweet little 8-day-old James! I was so excited to meet this little guy and also to meet his new parents, who are just fun and wonderful people. I love getting to know awesome people! My streak of baby boy newborn sessions continued with this little guy and I loved every minute of it. How lucky am I to be able to capture all the perfect details of these sweet little babies, straight from heaven! He didn't want to sleep as much, but even when he was awake he hardly cried. I think he just didn't want to miss out on any of the action! Thanks again, Jordan and Chelsie, for allowing me to capture you and little James during this happy time!












































And last but not least, I had to share these final shots. James definitely had us laughing with some of his funny facial expressions! I can just picture him thinking, "who IS this lady and what is she taking pictures of me for??"

Emily & Aaron | Utah Portrait Photographer

Well on this dreary cold day, I'd like to bring back a little bit of spring sunshine with these cute photos of my sister and her husband! Yes, I shot these back in May... and I'm finally catching up with my blogging a little and wanted to share a few. Emily and Aaron both work so hard and are incredibly smart and are going to go on to amazing things! Aaron is finishing up law school right now and Emily is in her final year of family medicine residency and will be joining a family practice group next year! I think that's pretty darn cool. These guys are too cute together and we love having Aaron as a part of our family. Enjoy a few shots from our "mini" session, shot out in Colorado in my parents' big, beautiful backyard.
