I keep wanting to blog all of the fun photos I've been taking and some of the specials I have been dreaming up that I mentioned about a while back, but it's just been a crazy last few weeks.  I will catch up eventually!  We got to go to Disneyland in the middle of all of that though, so it doesn't get much better than that (especially if you ask my 3-year-old...).  :)  I've been posting little sneak peeks and stuff on my Facebook page though- I seem to be better at updating that one lately than my blog!  Don't forget to go "like" Melanie Rice Photography if you haven't already, so you can keep up with my latest work!

Well tangent aside... What a great session I had with the Lundwall family recently! I can hardly believe that seven months have already flown by since I photographed sweet little Alyeska as a newborn.  These guys are just the cutest little family and are just great people all around.  Alyeska is just as beautiful as she was when I met her as a newborn.  I've enjoyed getting to know them better and it is always a huge honor to have a client come back for another session.  It's funny, Ashli found me through a mutual friend but then we found out later that her husband also used to drive tour buses through Alaska with my brother!  So random, and what a small world we live in!  Anyway, it was a fun session.  I love trying out new locations, and I think I definitely found a new favorite spot!  Enjoy these fun photos.
