Happy New Year, and hello to all my wonderful friends out there... I'm so excited to share that I am back for 2026!! I needed to take some time off last year, but I am officially back up and running, and I will be taking a part-time schedule for 2026. I can't wait to work with each one of you, and I recommend you book as soon as my calendar opens so that you don't miss your chance to snag a date!
I will be opening up bookings by the season this year. Spring dates will open up for booking on February 1, summer dates will open up on May 1, and fall through the end of the year (including Colorado dates) will open up on August 1. All of these will open up at 9:00 am on those respective dates, so mark your calendars!
Family mini sessions: The price is $400 plus tax, which includes a 30-minute session at one of the dates and locations specified below! This comes with a complimentary download of your unedited proofing gallery, as well as 30 fully edited images of your choice (editing process described HERE). I will be holding the majority of the mini sessions on Monday evenings, with a couple of Tuesdays as well. Why do I choose these days of the week?? I find that weeknights really are the best time to do photos! Traffic is lighter, parking is easier to obtain, and locations are far less crowded! It makes for such a more smooth and enjoyable experience all around, and is definitely worth taking a day off of work or leaving school early for!
There will be *no* travel fees this year for any family mini sessions, except for the Bonneville salt flats (travel fee process described below). No travel fees for Colorado sessions- I just need to fill at least 6 spots to make the trip, which usually happens fairly quickly every year.
Family mini session openings are limited to 2 families per evening (aside from the salt flats; see next paragraph). If we have full sun and a no-shade location, the earlier family may have the higher and brighter sun in their photos (but I am very used to this, and I am totally comfortable shooting in full sun!). If you have an earlier spot and would like a few more shots after the sun sets and the second family is done, you are more than welcome to wait around and we can do a few more!
*Bonneville Salt Flats: This location is so incredible, and is one of my most requested locations! It is near the border of Wendover, Nevada; about a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from Utah County. This is also the only location I will open up three family mini session slots at. Travel fees will only apply to the salt flats for family mini sessions this year, and only if I don't fill all three slots. For example, if I only fill one slot, the travel fee will be my usual salt flats travel fee of $150. If I book two slots, the travel fee will be $75 for each client. If I book three slots, the travel fee will be waived for everyone that day. I will bill you separately for that closer to the session date, once I know if the other slots fill.
**Albion Basin sessions: The earlier time slot will be in the forest/tree area with pine trees, flowers, beautiful mountain views (the sun will be higher, but we will be in the shade for the most part). The later time slot will be in the mountain meadow at sunset with mostly flowers and mountain views. I will communicate with you the exact process for this location when you book. It is a popular and busy location with very limited parking, and requires a $12 toll booth fee upon arrival. It is SO beautiful and so worth it, though!
***Colorado sessions: I will be in my home state, Colorado, from September 27-30, so that we will hopefully catch the peak fall colors! Please scroll to the bottom of this post, and you will see my availability for Colorado! All of these will be offered as mini sessions. I need to fill at least 6 spots to make the trip. Locations can be flexible for the Colorado trip, if you have somewhere else in mind that you would like to go. Just email me and we can see what we can do to make it work!
