Lola | Utah Newborn Photographer

16 June 2012

I had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful little Lola at just 7 days of age. What an incredible honor as always, and I'm so happy that her new parents chose me to capture her during this fleeting and sweet time. And how fun that I finally got to photograph a baby girl! (If you've been following my blog for a while, you might have noticed the newborn boy stretch I had been on for a loooong time. So funny!  Needless to say, it was fun to try out some of my girly ideas :) Lola had the most perfect, delicate features and was a joy to photograph. She wasn't all that interested in sleeping some of the time, which meant I got some fun shots of her wide awake. I love them! So here's a little preview of her session...

Summit & Madison | Utah Child and Baby Photographer

07 May 2012

I love photographing children. It brings out my silly side. :) I love capturing that innocence, those genuine facial expressions, those big bright eyes, and so much more. I actually love serious shots of children too. It was my pleasure of capturing Summit and Madison- Summit just turned 6 months and Madison just turned three! (Remember Summit's newborn photos?? Seems like just yesterday!) I love getting to capture kids on those big milestones. The six month age for babies is one of my absolute favorites- as a mother myself and also as a photographer. It is so fun (and easy!) to grab their attention and get some adorable images, without the baby trying to make an escape. Love it! So enjoy these two cuties.

Kaleb | Springville Utah Child Photographer

02 April 2012

Meet sweet little Kaleb! I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting this little guy a few weeks ago and got to capture a few images of him for his family. He is about 1 and a half now and is just the cutest! I think he didn't think I was very funny, but he gave us some seriously cute serious facial expressions, which are honestly my favorite. He also gave me a few funny faces too that I just had to share. Without further ado, enjoy these shots from Kaleb's session!

I thought this was the funniest shot.  I was driving one of his toy cars on my head in order to capture his attention (why not, right?) and next thing I know he is doing the same thing.  At least I know he was paying attention!  :)

My 4 year old... so grown up.

28 March 2012

It is crazy to think my big girl is already 4!! Where does the time go?? I ask myself that a lot. She is such a sweet and fun part of our family. I love how serious she is in so many photos. She has always been like that, even as a newborn baby, just staring up at me with her big green eyes. I love her beautiful eyes, I love those gapped teeth, I love all of the hilarious things she says and asks us on a daily basis. It's so fun being her mom! Here are a few photos I did of her right before her birthday. I had to include her partner-in-crime for a few photos too. :)

And just for fun, here are a few photos from her "Tangled" birthday party. I'm pretty sure all of her dreams came true with this party. It was our first time doing a party with some of her little girl cousins and friends, and she absolutely loved it. I am no Martha Stewart, but I was still pretty proud of all of the little decorations and such that I came up with (which took me way longer than I ever thought they would take to make!!). And by the way, if anyone needs to borrow some "Tangled" party decor, call me. Seriously.
