Chelsy + Brent | Utah Family Photographer

15 November 2012

Today's post is one I've been so excited to share.  I had the absolute privilege of capturing two of the most beautiful people, inside and out:  Chelsy and Brent.  Chelsy is an incredibly talented photographer here in Utah and I was lucky enough to trade photo sessions with Chelsy this fall.  If you missed our family pictures from her, check them out HERE.  I absolutely treasure them and I am so glad I had the opportunity to be the recipient of her talent.

I was equally as excited to photograph Chelsy!  This session was a special one.  They wanted to have the session not only celebrate their marriage, but to celebrate what is soon to come... they are in the process of adopting a baby.  I can't imagine better parents than these two- they are some of the most kind and genuine people I have ever met.  They are still trying to find a birth mom and are hoping to get the word out more, so they have set up a blog and have written the most sweet and heartfelt letters to their future child, which you can check out here.  If anyone reading this knows of a birth mom looking for an adoptive family, please read more about their story through the link!  Chelsy had the idea of incorporating their letters to their future child for part of the session, which I thought was such a sweet idea.

We enjoyed one of the last semi-warm fall days and the final remnants of fall color before all of this snow came in, and the lighting and colors near the lake that evening looked like they came straight out of a watercolor painting.  What a beautiful evening it was to spend with these two!
